The Kerala Tourism website is the largest travel website on any Indian State. It contains video, audio, photo and virtual reality galleries besides features like festival calendar, tour planner and feedback. Since 2003 several search engines have been ranking the website in the top for information on ‘Kerala’.
The website comes among the top 10 websites of tourism boards in Asia, Pacific, Middle East, and Africa in web traffic. It also performs better than official tourism websites of all the Indian states
Having undergone updation frequently, the site contains a huge database on Kerala, including 3,000 videos, thousands of photos and several hundred audio clips. The website has won several awards, including the prestigious Award of Excellence instituted by the Government of India for the “Most Innovative Use of Information Technology” and “Best Tourism Website Portal” during the years 2000-2001, 2002-2003, 2005-2006, 2008-09, 2010-11, 2012-13, 2013-14 and 2014-15.
